• 1 cup rolled oats

DIRECTIONS:

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats and colostrum powder. Mix them together well to evenly distribute the colostrum throughout the oats.
2.  Add the almond butter, honey or maple syrup, and a pinch of salt (if using) to the bowl with the oats and colostrum. These wet ingredients will help bind the mixture together and add flavor.
3. Using a spatula or your hands, thoroughly mix all the ingredients together until a sticky and cohesive mixture forms. Make sure that the colostrum powder is evenly distributed and there are no dry spots.
4.  If you'd like to add extra texture and flavor, this is the time to incorporate your chosen add-ins. Chopped nuts, dried fruits, or chocolate chips are popular options. Use about 1/4 to 1/2 cup of add-ins, depending on your preference.
5. Take small portions of the mixture and roll them between your hands to form bite-sized energy balls. The size can vary depending on your preference, but aim for consistent sizes to ensure even snacking.
6. Place the energy balls on a tray or plate lined with parchment paper. Once all the mixture has been rolled into balls, put the tray in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. Chilling will help the balls firm up and hold their shape.
7. After the energy balls have chilled and set, transfer them to an airtight container. Store them in the refrigerator for freshness. These energy balls can be enjoyed as a quick snack or as a pre-workout boost whenever you need an energy lift.
